Just Effect was launched in November, 2009 as a website and blog dedicated to research on ways that business can change the world for the better. On these pages you will find some of the work I have done in the last four years related to issues such as corporate responsibility and sustainability, strategic philanthropy, socially responsible investment, bottom of the pyramid business models, and business and public policy. The fundamental concept is that the private sector can be a source of innovative solutions to some of our most pressing global problems: poverty, proliferation of slums, poor sanitation, pollution, the list goes on.
